I love a grey t-shirt, its right up there with black and white, but I find that they don’t get as washed out as quickly as black (trick :  dry them inside out of direct sunlight) or as dingy as white (trick : handwash every once in a while with good old sunlight soap).  I must say my fascination with it has grown over the last few months and I’m keeping mindful of how easily I become obsessed with items so that I don’t go buying a hundred of them.

I believe that almost anything can be worn to the office, providing you style it right and naturally it goes without saying that said item should be of good quality and in excellent condition – no stains and it really should be holding its shape.

A simple day look for running errands, coffee with the girls or shopping.  Pumps so that you can walk far and get through all those awesome stores, light bag, a comfy T and a gorgeous necklace for some pizazz.

feb27-blackandwhitehandbag Taking the same day look to the office is as simple as adding a blazer  (this one is so old, I bought in about 2006!), slipping into some killer heels (Urban Zone and bought for all R90.00  a few years back as well) (trick : lose 5kgs by simply adding some heels – its like magic) and changing up the handbag and you’re good to go looking office appropriate.

I love grey t-shirts. They blend so much better with clothing than the starkness of black or white. Your outfits are both great examples, and I love that skirt.

Thanks sweet Sarah … I do agree and will admit that I’ve almost always worn strictly black and white – so my new love is growing at a rapid rate.

It is amazing how the look changes so much with the addition of heels and a jacket. Nice look sister.

It sure is surprising what a small addition, subtraction or a little elevation can do 😉

I am a sucker for grey! I also love heels, although Durban calls for flats….. which can be a bit boring! 🙂

I so understand the flats for Durban – otherwise you find your feet are puffy, swollen and you’re slipping around. One of the things I don’t like about my hometown is the humidity.
      But I miss the ocean!
