It’s Okay!!  Yes, I’m telling you, believe it or not, it’s okay …

20 things I’m giving you permission not to feel guilty about :

  1. to look in the mirror and think ‘looking damn fine today girl’
  2. to think you’re the prettiest woman in the universe
  3. to freshen up your lipstick, in public (between us, guys find it rather sexy)
  4. to take a few moments to spray perfume
  5. to relax and breath deeply
  6. to imagine you’re sitting at a Parisian street café when you drink your coffee
  7. to close your eyes and enjoy the moment while you daydream
  8. to fantasise that the boy who broke your heart, is having his heart broken knowing that he can’t have you now
  9. to kick your heels off under your desk (just don’t go around the office barefoot)
  10. to be overdressed
  11. to care a little more about your outfits than the woman in the next cubicle
  12. to return an item that does not live up to your expectations, and not feel bad, you paid for it after all, even if its crappy cotton wool (Clicks)
  13. to not paint your fingernails (but at least put clearless on, it just looks more polished
  14. to go without makeup for a day
  15. to have more than one pair of black shoes
  16. to go to gym just because you want to see the hot trainers/bods
  17. to see your reflection in a shop window/mirror and think ‘wow, that’s me’
  18. to take a ‘mental health’ day and spend it at the day spa
  19. to take the day off and not tell a soul (except your boss – if you have one)
  20. to eat chuckles for lunch (be realistic, its a once in a blue moon thing – not daily)
