This evening my sistas and I met for our monthly sistas dinner – however, with it being December, we also celebrate our sister Normas birthday as well as Christmas.  I really can’t believe its been a year since our last Christmas dinner where half the restaurant was interested in what was going on.  I guess when 4 women walk into a restaurant each with three gifts, most people would look … at least I know I sure would and if you know me, I’m as curious as a cat about everything that goes on.

(Sorry I look so sleepy, but these photos were taken after 10pm after a super long day – I had smiled in some, but of course, those were not the best pics this evening … lol)

Deets : Jeans and top : Kelso @ Edgars | Sandals & Earrings : Truworths | Bracelets : Woolworths  |  Rings : Accessorize @ Edgars

So since it was our celebratory dinner, I decided to glam up a little.  I bought this shirt and these jeans fairly recently on the Edgars sales.  I’m just noticing (as I did with another top of the same cut) that this top it pulls a little oddly in the middle.  I however bought it due to the design on it.  The jeans are embroidered skinnies.  Now you know, for my shape, these are just so wrong, but more than that, they are fairly tight on the calves … but I love the fabric.  And I’ve decided life is short so I’m going to keep blowing off the ‘wear bootcut leg jeans’ until maybe sometime next year.

My accessories are just divine (according to me) … First up are the bracelets which came in a set of four from Woolies and cost R99.00.  Next are the rings which came as part of a set of 5 from Accessorize (their bling is just so addictive) and the earrings are really old now and from Truworths.

I got so by my sisters and I’m going to be a bad girl and link to Lynns post as she has lovely photos from this evening, except there is no picture of my gift from her which was just lovely and consisted of a lovely plastic container, a gorgeous tiled frame song, truffles in a stunning tin with ladies walking in Paris (you know how much I love Paris) and a gorgeous handmade card.  She is so super talented.

All in all, a really awesome evening and the signal that the year is on its last breath – are you ready for 2014?

Sweet dreams people, I’m off to the land of Nod.
