I reviewed the Garnier BB Cream last year February and can’t believe its been over ayear since I started using these.  I previously tried the Justine Tinted Moisturiser, which I found far too thin and had little to no real coverage.  I was rather hesitant at first about BB Creams, but all in all found the Garnier BB Cream to be a good ‘I’m in a hurry’ fix.

I’m rather fond of Sorbet products, so when I noticed their BB Cream in Clicks about a month ago and my Garnier one was almost finished, I decided I’d give it a try.

All in all, I prefer this one to the Garnier BB Cream.  Although I was initially surprised at how much thicker it was and momentarily concerned that it would not spread easily, my concerns disappeared as soon as I started applying it.  It covers well and the colour is richer.  A little shiny at first, but it settles after a few minutes and you barely feel as though there’s anything on your skin and it leaves a glow on your skin.

Being of the older generation, my skin sometimes need a little more coverage and I apply a little extra foundation on top, but find that I use very little.  With the moisturiser in the cream, I find that my skin does not get as tight as its prone to with foundation and I don’t get the end of the day flakiness that I’ve found with a lot of foundations.

All in all – a big thumbs up from me.

Hi Aunty Wends! Funny thing , I was on a BB cream rant couple days ago as I was not happy with Garnier BB cream.
I was lucky enough to get some BB cream when my friend’s boyfriend went to Korea he brought us back some (Originated in Korea). It was just divine… The one I have found is Misha BB cover… Its covers and not as thick as base. I definitely rather buy a Korean one online than use any other 🙂 xx

I must say that I am really liking the Garnier BB Cream but also loved the coverage of the Sorbet which I bought out of desperation.

    Hi!
Interesting article, we’re really BB-cream fans, just so light on the face and covering enough! Did you ever tried ‘CC’? We’re really curious about that! Never tried that!

Thanks for followin’ on bloglovin’… to keep contact it’s sometimes difficult to keep followin’. We don’t have enough FB-fans, maybe you can follow us there and we follow back? Just leave a pm or something that we know.

I’ll have to give the Payot a try next. I love the convenience of them.
