With summer on the well, at least for my friends and family in the Northern Hemisphere, and you have shorts and bikinis leering at you from every angle, then its time to consider the state of your thighs.  If you’re in the Southern Hemisphere, its not a bad time to start this challenge either, so that by the time our next Spring rolls around, you’ll be the first one out in shorts and not hiding under a coverall.  But even if your thighs are not perfect, remember that true beauty if from within and skinny most certainly does not mean healthy – at 60kgs my state of health was horrific compared to my current 77kgs where there’s a lot more of me to love, but I’m so much healthier.

I’m on day 4 and maybe, just maybe I’ll get a photo taken of my hiney and thighs just to see the progress for myself.  Bear in mind if you do the exercises your tummy gets a little workout as well :bonus:.  I am using my 1.5kg dumbbells when doing the Plie Squat Pulses for the little extra oomph it provides.  I also use the dumbbells when I’m feeling super strong and do one of Casseys Blogilates workouts, where she has you put the dumbbell behind your knee when you do the hydrants … its a serious workout.

Hope this inspires you to do just a little towards a healthier version of you.

      They’re not hard exercises, but you feel it right away. The plie with a little dumbbell or even a bag of sugar or flour works wonders and don’t be surprised if your thigh starts cramping while doing the scissors 😉
